Topics to be covered:
1. April 29th, 2008 “All about attention focus and learning, is it always ADHD?” Presenters will be William Shryer, Clinical Director of Diablo Behavioral Healthcare and Rhea Brandon, Licensed Educ.Psych
2. May 13th, 2008 “Developmental delays, autistic spectrum disorders; i.e. Asperger’s and Pervasive Developmental Disorders, new information and treatments.” Presenters to be announced.
3. May 27th, 2008 “How genes and DNA affect our health and the medicines we use.” Howard Coleman CEO of Genelex, a DNA Laboratory in Seattle, will discuss how personalized medication management using software and DNA testing can prevent adverse drug side effects and treatment failures. This new approach shows how we metabolize many medicines because of our genes and other medicines we may be taking.
